Color Schemes
I love when the couple’s creative side branches out while planning their Wedding! I get first hand experience of the couple’s creating color palettes that they love, whether they go with the season their Wedding is in or not. Many couple’s focus their color scheme on a range of things: Season, Favorite Colors, Venue, Elegancy, Traditional, etc.
The most popular color palettes coordinate with the season the couple’s Wedding is in. For example, in the Fall months, there are a lot of Weddings using burnt orange, terra-cotta, forest green, etc. As compared to the Winter months, you see a lot of white, black, baby blues, and a variety of holiday colors. When you branch off into the spring, the colors seem to pop more, with pinks, purples, and greens. With the summer concluding with yellows, peach tones, and more vibrant colors. This being the most popular way that couples coordinate their color scheme. It does not have to be your way.
Lots of couples pick their color palette solely off of their favorite colors & what they love! If pink is your favorite, have a pink Wedding any time of the year, it’s YOUR day! The atmosphere of the venue is another way clients pick their color scheme. If you are getting married inside or outside, in a barn or in a chapel, in the woods, or in the city. All are so unique and different in their own way. Clients take their venue into consideration when picking their color scheme, to tie in the whole surrounding. I believe it is a great approach in picking your colors for your Wedding! Although, as I will always state, it’s your day, pick any colors you want!
A more popular, traditional, elegant, and never wrong, color scheme is a classic black and white Wedding. They never go out of style, turn out as gorgeous as they sound, and are a guest favorite! A black and white Wedding at any venue, is always a safe way to go, tying in the elegancy, tradition, and class.
